These are the drawings we did for Issue 6 of The Lifted Brow. The theme for the issue was an atlas so we did 2 different concepts , one showing the similarities of Atlas and Sissyphus AND the second one showing countries with infamous foreign policy or leadership sulking and growling.

The book is 300 pages of text and drawings and comes with 2 cds. Some contributors you may have heard of include Indian Jewelry , David Foster Wallace , Meg Hunt , Douglas Coupland , Sasha Barr , Jo Dery & tUnE-YaRdS to name a few.
The first edition is sold out but they are doing a short-run second printing if you wanna snag one. 25$ within Australia , 35$ world.

Free Drawings is what it’s called. It’s a newsprint zine , full of drawings and it’s free. What could be more rad? Ok , your very own unicorn waiter bringing you endless piles of cookies WOULD be more rad BUT this zine is still pretty badass.

Put together by our buddy Jesjit Gill in Toronto , issue 6 has work by him , Luke Ramsey , Luke Painter , Andrew Wilson , Ron Regé Jr, Steph Davidson , Matt Hart , Fiona Smyth and Michael Deforge.

We did these drawings 2 years ago , on request for a big book on monsters/mutants. Initially we wanted to hold off on posting them online till the book came out , now it seems that that time will never come so here they are.

Seripop in back and white ? Strange but true!

Last week I was chatting with our pal Ed Mar in Chicago and he asked us if we could do some b&w drawings that would be used as section dividers for the next issue of his magazine , Proximity. He asked for cityscapes and landscapes so that what we did , in our own weird way.

Ed’s hooked us up many times over the years so we’ll always happy to oblige.

Now this is the ultranerdy , typical-us inside joke part : if anyone can guess who the famous architects in the drawings are (there are 3 , there is also a philosopher and a monarch) we’ll send you a tube of goodies.
